A key factor for off-road capability is ground clearance. We offer you two smart solutions:

1. Lift kits from Terranger or Delta Fahrzeugbau improve approach and departure angles and allow your vehicle to handle roots, rocks, or deep snow with confidence.

2. Air suspension systems from streetec offer maximum flexibility: You can lower the vehicle to under 2 m—ideal for parking garages or ferries—or raise it up to 2.15 m for off-road use. All at the push of a button.

Extra: Automatic leveling via air suspension—the vehicle is always perfectly level, no leveling blocks needed.

2. Fully protected: Skid plates and rock sliders

Nature knows no mercy — but we know protection systems. Our off-road conversion options include robust skid plates made of aluminum or steel for:

1. Engine & transmission (6mm aluminum)

2. Fuel tank (4mm aluminum)

3. Rear differential on all-wheel drive vehicles (5mm aluminum)

Additionally, we recommend rock sliders (solid stainless steel) that protect the sides of your vehicle from rocks — and guarantee door opening even if the vehicle is grounded.
